I'm going to read what you'll write in English, no matter how difficult or big words you may use. I won't hesitate a moment to use my electronic dictionary!

When I started writing my thoughts, etc. on the internet at first, I felt more comfortable writing in English. But I have been away from English speaking environment for a few years, I am getting more comfortable writing in Japanese.

Anyway, I cannot tell you how happy your encouraing words made me feel inside. I do feel incomplete when I express myself only in Japanese. Now I found someone who can see my both Japanese and English selves!

I am not sure how often I write in English, but when I do, I am going to imagine that YOU will read it. Such a thought motivates me to write in English.

I do not usually use big words in either Japanese or English. There won't be a need for such a high tech dictionary! My thoughts are simple. My words are simple...and so am I.

I think I can understand what you mean.
I believe myself to be a dyed-in-the-wool Japanese, but nonetheless it is sometimes easier to express myself in English than in Japanese, my native language. I've wondered why.

愛しているよ sounds odd to me. How about you, Rurudo-san? But when it comes to English, it seems to me that "I love you" is far easier to be pronounced and sounds very natural, and because of this, we can catch the right moment (laughter).

This may not have a lot to do with the answer to the question of why English is sometimes(or always) easier for some bilinguals to express themselves.

Well, anyway, I'll be more delighted to visit your site since you're determined to write more in English and spread your lyrical views all over the world!

Really, I did not get an impression that you were so Japanese from your writing.

Yes, 愛しているよ sounds a little odd to me, too. 好きだよ sounds more sincere in Japanese than 愛しているよ. I agree that "I love you" sounds very natural. Also, Spanish is a very expressive language(te amo, mi amor), I think. Sadly, I'd let go of"right moments" in my life (tears...).

Japanese expressions are very subtle, sometimes I miss what people are trying to say. For me English is more obtrusive and expressive; it is easier to communicate with.

Moreover, I do not usually argue in Japanese, but I sometimes argue and have quarrels with people when I speak English.

Well, it is good to have more than one languages to express ourselves! Yes?;)

When I was overseas, some people mentioned me that I were sincere. But, I am the person who least knows about myself. So, I am not sure if I am.

I feel that you are gifted with languages. Your command of both Japanese and English amazes me. I wish I had the gift!

However, Rurudo-san, I'd rather not. Please allow me not to accept your offer, because once I have decided to write something academic, I know I must do a lot of preliminary things beforehand but I've been too busy lately. Am I being too serious? (Laughter)

I'd never thought that I was a good writer; I cannot tell you how encouraging your wonderful comment is for me. I can imagine that you are a wonderful teacher for your students in your daily lives. ENCOURAGEMENT is the best gift that a teacher can give to his/her students. And you gave it to me although I am not your student! (smile).
